Please be patient with replies as some questions may require looking more into or research; but, a reply will be posted. Anyone may reply to questions if you are sure of your reply based on, perhaps, your experience, then please share your knowledge.

If you are unsure of rather to post a question and wish to direct it privately first, contact an admin who will advise you further including asking you to post in the group for others knowledge.

Thanking you in advance for your patience.

*******************************************************************

Help fight spam and inappropriate content or links from circulating through our environment!

While we are all enjoying this environment and being able to market freely, build relationships, and getting messages out about what we do in business, let's all make sure that we do not spam or even allow it from other members.  Here are definitely known spam approaches which are the most widely used and results into account suspension:

  1. posting on others members profiles any type of promotions, advertising, ads, banners, and any content that lead to your business offer including inviting members to contact you about your offer.
  2. sending any of the above, #1, to members inboxes.
  3. posting any of the above, #1, in areas other than where such content is permitted to be posted.
  4. requesting friendship authorizations that include a message of any of the above #1.
  5. posting any of the above, #1, in members groups that are not for posting such content.
  6. if a member reports any of the above, #1, accompanied with proof or direction to view the spam.
  7. know that this reminder also includes inappropriate content as well (all the unpleasant content that you would not want your children to see - we are a rated G site, and inappropriate content or links to such sites are not allowed.

While spam or inappropriate content or links may not always be recognized right away, eventually it will be, and can lead up to a warning or account suspension indefinitely or permanently.  If you do not know if what you are posting is spam or is inappropriate or where to post it, then do not post it.  We invite you to inquire with an admin if you are unsure of what you are posting and/or where. Also, please consider reviewing the membership Terms of Conditions, if you have not done so already or if you need knowledge refreshing of how we operate.

NOTE:  If you experience any spam situations, please report directly to an admin, of your choice, right away so that action may be expedited and taken care of anonymously.

If you have any questions about this message, do not hesitate to ask an admin or join the MWF Q&A Group.

Hi Jon,

Instant chatted with Gene

5:55 AM
I am looking at a comment in the admins group...
that you and John had problems with the chat bar. Do you recall what the problem might have been or is?

Gene L Melius 6:01 AM
everything works fine now

So I take it that the issue cleared up for you as well or has it?

I am curious to know what type of issues are being experienced with MWF functionality and navigation so that we may assist our members?

You may either start a discussion or post your question on the comment wall which could be moved to a discussion.

Looking forward to seeing how we can support our members with MWF.

Hello John. Thank you so very much for accepting my suggestion for an "events" page and taking action to implementing it. I am thankful for you and how you enrich our lives!

Hello Grover, Thanks for the suggestion of adding an "events" page.

MWF now as an "event" page

Events can be seen or added by either clicking the "events" tab in top nav bar next to chat.  or from the events block on homepage just under the photo block right hand-side.

HI everyone. Admin, here is a thought and a few suggestions. One I think that it would be helpful if we were able to see some where on the Homepage those of recently sign-up so that we can greet then & acknowledge them quickly. Also I think that a section devoted to announcing "Events" would be helpful for those who have an Event that they would like to share and that the members could choose to ignore, accept or respond with a maybe for attendance. Thank you for taking time to read these thoughts & suggestions. ( A Proud MFW Member).

John, thank you for the responses for

  1. re:  removing self from the instant messenger -- ok
  2. re:  non members being able to see profile and the graphics of how-to -- still have a question about this one.

Grover and I were testing the chat room to see how to exit it.  We could still see each other in the room after each of us took turns clicking the X to leave ..... hmm

We figured maybe we have to log off MWF and log back in to clear ourselves from the room.  This is no biggie, but we are wondering that once we logged into the room, we cold not exit.

Thanks.
