How does it make you feel when your content is marked as "like" with the icons that are displayed to do this?  I know how I feel.  I feel that I have contributed content of interest or value.  Often we can respond to what we like by writing comments; but, this is no longer necessary to have to write comments all the time.  With the implementation of the "Like" buttons or icons, now we can still show that we like what we see; this is so convenient.

I highly suggest that the "Like" icons following content, programs, postings, etc be used independently or in addition to entering comments; why?  Clicking "Like" serves to let the content publishers or members know our thoughts with just a quick click which is the bottom line.  This is not to say that we have to "like" everything that we see; but, use those icons as often as  we can since they are a visibility attraction.  We would be surprised at how the trickling affect of doing this will spread throughout the community and will even see some "likes" to our content as well.

There is a lot of good content that is being shared; let's show our appreciation for members' contributions by commenting and/or just clicking the "Like" button.  Also, "Like" members' profile by clicking on the little red heart under the profile ID.  Members enjoy being acknowledged.  Many members are posting comments; continue this practice and take advantage of the purpose for why the "Like" button is implemented.
